Directions to Tower Road Beach / Winnetka Power Plant:
- From I-94, take Tower Road east.
- North (Left) on Sheridan Rd.
- East (Right) at the entrance to the beach. The road is very steep.
Directions to Lloyd Park:
- From I-94, take Tower Road east.
- South (Right) on Sheridan Rd.
- East (Left) at the entrance to the park. The road is very steep.ake.
Directions to Maple Street Park:
- From I-94, take Tower Road east.
- South (Right) on Sheridan Rd.
- East (Left) at the entrance to the park. There is a steep foot path that leads to the Lake.
Fishing options in Winnetka:
- Casting spoons, jigs or lures.
- Fishing with bait under bobbers.
- Tight line fishing with bait.
Best times to fish Winnetka:
- Coho Salmon - October.
- Chinook Salmon - September through October.
- Brown Trout - October through April.
- Steelhead - November through April.
